You can get access to Control Panel and other administrative tools using the information on this page:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970207

This starts up a Remote Desktop connection to the server even on Windows XP Home which normally does not have this ability.

***Information from page***
Click Start, click Run, type MSTSC, and then press ENTER

In the Computer field type the name of your Home Server and then click Connect

In the Certificate Warning dialogue click Yes

In the User name field type Administrator

In the Password field type the password used to access the Home Server Console

Click OK

I’m running 0.4.3 also…the only problem I’ve found so far is in trying to access “conrtol panel” under the admin tab. It locks up the remote access window and forces me to close it and reopen. As long as I stay away from the control panel tab…things seem to be working. I’m really looking forward to a fix for AAC…I don’t know how I will live without it!!!

you can actually still get control panel to work just by using AAC and creating a new shortcut to %windir%\system32\control.exe it works for me until a ‘newer’ version is developed.

BTW. I think that it may have something to do with the way the shortcuts on the AAC toolbar are created… I’m no developer, just a suggestion / stab in the dark

You can gain access to the control panel through a remote desktop access session from another computer that supports remote desktop client. Log iin with your administrator ID and pword.
